Kevin Kenney is an active performer, clinician, arranger, and educator in the Atlanta area. He is a recent Graduate of Texas Christian University where he earned his Master’s Degree in Percussion Performance. Originally from Hoover, Alabama, Kevin earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education with a concentration in percussion from Jacksonville State University in Jacksonville, Alabama.  He has performed at the Percussion Arts Society International Convention multiple times in the Marimba Competition, Showcase Concerts, and the Marching Festival.  He has also performed internationally multiple times as a soloist, as a member of the Kenney Percussion Duo, and as a member of the 
TCU Symphony Orchestra.
He has participated in Winter Guard International as a member of Music City Mystique Indoor Drumline from 2007 through the 2009 season.  He also participated in Drum Corps International for a total of four summers with Memphis Sound, Spirit of JSU and The Cavaliers Drum and Bugle Corps.
Over the years Kevin has taught private lessons, percussion ensembles, steel bands, and many high school marching bands in Alabama, Georgia and Texas.  He has also given numerous master classes and clinics for percussion.  Kevin is currently the Assistant Band Director and Director of Percussion at Woodland High School in Stockbridge, GA.  At Woodland, he instructs multiple percussion ensembles, the steel band, and the marching band.
