A graduate of Middle Tennessee State University, Michael Holland is the Director of Percussion and Assistant Director of Marching Band at Franklin High School in the Williamson County School District. 

A native of Nashville, Mr. Holland marched with the Cavaliers Drum and Bugle Corps for the 2006 and 2007 seasons.  In addition to winning a DCI World Championship in 2006, Mr. Holland also served as section leader and received the honor of the Zildjian Award presented by the Cavaliers' percussion staff for outstanding performance and leadership in 2007.  While at Middle Tennessee State University, Mr. Holland performed with the Tennessee Percussive Arts Society All-Collegiate Ensemble and was co-section leader with the Wind Ensemble, which performed at numerous events including the 2008 College Band Directors National Conference. 

Michael Holland has taught at various high schools and middle schools in the Middle and West Tennessee regions.   Mr. Holland is a percussion and leadership instructor for Positive Performance Concepts based in Murfreesboro, TN.   Mr. Holland is an Innovative Percussion artist and Pearl Educational Artist.
