Regina Go is a music educator in Nashville, TN, and percussion instructor for Mt. Juliet High School in Mt. Juliet, TN.

A native of Indiana, Regina graduated from Indiana University in 2019 with a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education, where she studied with Professors John Tafoya, Kevin Bobo, Michael Spiro, and Steve Houghton. During her time, she performed with nearly every IU band and orchestra, including the Wind Ensemble and the Philharmonic Orchestra. She also performed at the Foster Farms Bowl in 2016 during her time with the IU Marching Hundred. She has been a member of the Steel Pan and the Afro-Cuban ensembles, and performed with many extra-curricular ensembles such as the Southern Indiana Wind Ensemble.

Regina spent multiple years with the Phantom Regiment Drum and Bugle Corps (based out of Rockford, IL). She performed in the summers of 2015, 2016, and 2018 as a member of the front ensemble.

Throughout her undergraduate career, Regina built and shared her skills as a middle school and high school percussion educator. She has been a front ensemble technician for Ben Davis HS (Indianapolis, IN) and served as a head front ensemble technician for Edgewood HS (Ellettsville, IN). She has held a private lessons studio since 2015, teaching percussion and piano lessons to students anywhere from ages 5-22. Through these experiences, Regina has had the opportunity to work with individual students, coach percussion ensembles, and develop a percussion pedagogy for middle school and high school students.
