Tim Jackson is a world renowned performer, educator, clinician and designer for the marching arts. With a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from The Ohio State University, he provides education in forms ranging from private instruction to program consultation. Tim completed his marching career with four years at the Concord Blue Devils (2003-06), and six indoor seasons with Rhythm X (2002-07). Jackson won honors as the PASIC MultiTenor champion in 2005, and the DCI Individual and Ensemble Multi-Tenor champion four consecutive years from 2003 to 2006.
After spending two seasons on staff with The Concord Blue Devils, Tim is now in his fifth season as an instructor with The Bluecoats Drum and Bugle Corps. There he spent three years as Battery Coordinator, becoming Visual Caption Head in 2012. Tim has been a part of the Rhythm X design team since 2008, and also currently serves as the Battery Arranger. Tim and his wife live in Columbus, Ohio, were he heads the percussion program at Dublin Jerome High School. For years Tim has provided private instruction to students in the central Ohio area. He has also instructed, consulted, and provided clinics and master classes across the nation, as well as Western Europe, Korea and Japan.
