Product Spotlight

TIM JACKSON TENOR STICK MODELS


IP is proud to showcase two signature model sticks designed by Tim Jackson, Battery Caption Head and Battery Arranger for Rhythm X Indoor Percussion Ensemble, and multiple DCI and PAS solo tenor champion. The TS-TJ features a diamond shaped nylon tip mounted on a wood handle with a tapered handle at the butt-end, giving the player better control with the back fingers. The TS-TJ2 also features a diamond shaped nylon tip but is mounted on a true drumstick profile, giving the player a feel very similar to a traditional drumstick.

MARK FORD MARIMBA SERIES


Mark Ford, renowned educator, performer, and Coordinator of Percussion at the University of North Texas, has assisted with the development of the Legato Series and the Strong Legato Series solo marimba mallets. All eight models feature natural birch handles, allowing the player additional control in demanding performance situations.

BOB BREITHAUPT DRUM SET MODELS


The BB-1 and BB-2 were designed to the specifications of Bob Breithaupt, Professor of Music, Department Chair of Jazz Studies/Music Industry, Director of Percussion at Capital University. The Bob Breithaupt models are available in either maple (BB-1) or hickory (BB-2) and feature a medium taper with a teardrop bead.

JAMES CAMPBELL CONCERT SNARE DRUM MODELS


The IP-JC and IP-JC2 Concert Model Snare Drum Sticks were designed by James Campbell, Professor of Music and Director of Percussion Studies at the University of Kentucky in Lexington. The IP-JC is constructed of heartwood hickory, and the oval shaped bead creates a full dark tone quality. The IP-JC2 is constructed of laminated birch, and is a larger or maestoso version of the IP-JC model.

"Ice Dance was composed in 2002 for the dance company Barents Dansemsemble. Its premier performance was at the Winter Festival "Vintervägen" of the same year and featured ice instruments during the third movement.
