Rick BarclayClaremont High School
Rick Barclay currently resides in Orange County, California where he teaches history at the high school level. He recently graduated from Cal State University at Fullerton with his B.A. in History and California Teaching Credential in Social Sciences. In addition, he is currently completing his Masters Degree in History. Rick served as the percussion coordinator of Claremont High School in Claremont, CA from 2004-2008 and currently teaches with the Woodbridge Percussion Ensemble in Irvine, CA.
Rick began his drumming career at East Syracuse-Minoa High School in upstate New York at the age of 16. After high school, Rick competed in various Drum Corps and Winter Guard International ensembles. He spent one season marching with the Spirit Performing Youth Ensemble from Kitchner, Ontario in 2001. From 2001-2003 he marched with the Rochester Patriots from Rochester, NY and in 2005 with The Magic Drum & Bugle Corps from Orlando, Florida.
