Julie Davila and Percussion XS
Innovative Percussion artist Julie Davila is the founder and director of a brand new youth program that provides a unique experience for local students. Percussion XS was created to give High School students in the Middle Tennessee area who come from varying backgrounds and band programs an opportunity to participate in a percussion ensemble or drum line that enhances their already existing percussion education. This percussion program focuses on achieving excellence in both skill development and performance. The Percussion XS experience strives to provide students with diverse musical training in all areas of percussion study. Students are encouraged to set high standards, maintain a strong work ethic and work together as a team to reach their full potential as a contributing musician.
