FS-MM Mike McIntosh Model
The FS-MM signature model marching snare stick is a larger version of the popular arena series drumstick designed to the exact specifications of Mike McIntosh, Music Coordinator and Percussion Arranger for the Bluecoats Drum and Bugle Corps and Percussion Coordinator for the award winning Carmel High School Band. The FS-MM is the newest drumstick in the Field Series, designed specifically for the outdoor marching percussion environment. Mike's stick is constructed of heartwood hickory and features a round bead for increased articulation as well as a short taper and smaller neck for quick rebound and excellent response.

Mike McIntosh
The Cavaliers Drum & Bugle Corps, Carmel High School
Michael McIntosh is a Yamaha artist/clinician as well as a signature artist with Innovative Percussion. He also endorses LP Percussion, EVANS drumheads, Zildjian cymbals, Sibelius notation software and is on the Dynamic Marching creative team.
Michael is currently a senior at Butler University where he is a deanʼs list student pursuing a degree in theory and composition under the tutelage of composers-inresidence, Dr. Michael Schelle and Dr. Frank Felice. He is one of two percussion specialists at Carmel high school and is an adjunct faculty member at Marian University. In addition to freelance composing and digital sound design, Michael is also one of two percussion designers and arrangers for The Cavaliers drum and bugle corps.
Mr. McIntosh produced and composed the original sound design and content for a new educational DVD entitled “In the Mix” which has been released for worldwide distribution through the Hal Leonard Corporation and Dynamic Marching. For more information, please visit www.dynamicmarching.com.
Compositionally, Michael has been commissioned to write a piece for the Midwest Band and Orchestral Convention and has works published by Row-Loff Publications, Yamaha Sounds of Summer, Tap Space Publications, Key Poulan Music, Drop 6 Media, The Hal
Leonard Corporation, Marching Show Concepts and JKS Music. Mr. McIntosh is an active clinician/educator and has performed clinics for TMEA, OMEA, DCI, WGI, MEPA,
IPA, BOA, Yamaha Sounds of Summer, Yamaha Japan and PASIC. As an educator, he has traveled extensively throughout the United States, Asia and Europe. In 2008,
Michael toured Japan presenting multi-media clinics on percussion techniques and digital design. Mr. McIntosh represents the General Effect caption as one of three judge representatives on the WGI Steering committee. He currently resides in Brownsburg, Indiana with his wife Joy.
