BR-CW – Chad Wackerman Paintbrush

The BR-CW Chad Wackerman
Paintbrush provides the player with a number of different choices of timbre
colors. Built on a red hickory wooden handle, this retractable medium gauge wire brush features a soft rubber sleeve
near the brush fan and a strip of felt surrounding the butt end. The pull rod of the BR-CW also includes a nylon tip allowing for defined articulation on cymbals. These various features allow the player to create a greater number of sounds without having to change to other striking implements including cross stick, cymbal swells, and ride patterns. All these colors are achieved while maintaining a solid, comfortable, balanced feel making the BR-CW
Paintbrush the most unique brush available.
KDB-1 Chris McHugh Kick Drum Beater

The KDB-1 Chris McHugh is a uniquely designed bass drum beater and truly one of a kind. The solid core gives an extreme enhancement of low-end frequencies. The yarn wrap, while not only aesthetically unique, cuts down attack & high-end frequencies, producing the lowest tone possible on a bass drum.

The Pedro Carneiro
series marimba mallets are built with heavy synthetic cores specific to each model
and its intended sound. Wrapped with
100% un-dyed natural wool, each mallet provides enhanced fundamental tone across all
registers of the marimba. Models 1
through 4 are built on premium oversized rattan handles, while the ground
breaking Tri-tone mallet is built
with ramin handles for less vibration. Additionally, the
PC-TT Tri-tone mallet features three unique playing zones which allows the player to produce a variety of colors while using one implement.
PC1: Heavy/Extra Soft/Bass - Producing warm sonority; works extremely well in lowest two octaves
PC2: Heavy/Soft/Bass - Slightly more focused than the PC1; works well in lower half of marimba
PC3: General/Medium Soft - Covers all registers of instrument with tremendous warmth and clarity
PC4: Medium - This versatile mallet is slightly brighter than the PC3 and able to project across large ensembles
PC-TT: Tri-tone - Covers entire range of marimba

New to the Sandi Rennick Series is the IP4002.5 Medium Hard
marimba mallet. This series of mallets is constructed with smaller, uniquely
weighted cores which produce a more focused sound and puts more weight in the
player’s hands. This allows for the sound to speak very quickly and works
very well with an amplified keyboard section. The Sandi Rennick
Series models are constructed on birch handles with a matte finish and are
wrapped with a synthetic yarn durable enough to withstand the environmental
conditions of the marching idiom.

The TS-MM Michael McIntosh Mizzle tenor
stick is constructed of white hickory and features a smaller, nylon tip creating a
bright articulation. The TS-MM is
offered with a synthetic sleeve that can be easily removed from the nylon
bead. This gives the player the option
to produce a sound in between a felt mallet and wooden tipped stick.

Built with the same “fulcrum notch” handle as the current
FT-1, the FT-1B features a more
‘traditional’ (or retro) tenor mallet head which has a rounder playing area. This creates more surface contact, producing
a fuller timbre enhancing the middle voice of the marching percussion ensemble.
L: 14 ¾”; Head Size: 1 1/8” x 5/8”.
