Jazper is currently the Front Ensemble Tech/Private Lesson Instructor at Haltom High School in Haltom City, TX. Prior to that, he taught at numerous groups in the Southern California and Texas areas including Westminster HS, Ayala HS, and Centennial HS. He is currently the Front Ensemble Coordinator for the Sacramento Mandarins in addition to being on staff with the Concord Blue Devils and Vigilantes Indoor Percussion - a World Class Indoor group based out of Ft. Worth, TX.


Originally from San Diego, California, he completed a Bachelors Degree in Percussion Performance from California State University, Long Beach. He went on to receive a Master’s Degree from the University of North Texas. He has been fortunate enough to study with an array of notable teachers including Raynor Carroll, Ed Smith, Ted Atkatz, Christopher Deane, Nick Mancini, Paul Rennick, Dave Gerhart, Mark Ford, Poovalur Sriji, and Brad Dutz.


His indoor marching experience includes Alternative Percussion, Pulse Percussion, and Riverside Community College. His DCI credits include the Sacramento Mandarins, and the Concord Blue Devils.
