Yazan Sayyed is a sought after percussion consultant based out of Austin, TX. He graduated from Spring High School under the percussion direction of Rick Rodriguez. Before finishing his film degree at Sam Houston State University, he was briefly a Music Education Major at The University of North Texas. Since graduating high school, Yazan has been a part of the Madison Scouts Snare Line in 2011 and the Gateway Indoor Percussion Snare Line in 2013. 

As an official educator since 2009, Yazan has been on staff with many percussion ensembles (indoor, outdoor, and concert) including Cedar Ridge High School, Spring High School, Lake Travis Indoor, and in 2014, Yazan joined the staff at Ridgeview Middle School. Over the summer, Yazan is an educator for multiple YAMAHA Sounds of Summer camps and frequently travels around Texas to teach percussion masterclasses. In 2016, the Ridgeview Middle School Percussion Ensemble directed by Yazan Sayyed was accepted to perform at the 70th annual Midwest Clinic and Convention in Chicago.
