Charlene Doan has worked with many successful ensembles that compete in the indoor and outdoor percussion activity, including the Independent World WGI finalist ensemble POW Percussion, the Open Class DCI ensemble Impulse Drum and Bugle Corps, the nationally acclaimed Pacifica High School and Mission Viejo High School, and a handful of other percussion ensembles around Southern California.

Charlene’s performance experience includes a four year run as a member of the Pulse Percussion front ensemble where she served as the section leader and aged out with a WGI Gold Medal in 2010. She was also a member of the Santa Clara Vanguard Front Ensemble in 2009. In addition to her extensive and relatively young career in percussion, she received her Bachelor of Arts in Business Economics from University of California, Irvine in 2009. She currently lives in Anaheim, California.
