Daniel Everett is an engineer, percussionist, and educator in Pittsburgh, PA. Daniel currently serves as Assistant Marching Band Director at Kiski Area High School, overseeing the percussion program during the fall season. Outside of his role at Kiski, Daniel also serves as a front ensemble instructor at Matrix Performing Arts, involving himself in both Matrix World and Matrix Open ensembles, including the recent 2018 PIO gold medalist ensemble.

Possessing a unique skill set, Daniel proudly works during the day as an Embedded Software Engineer, where he explores the cutting edge of precision motion control using high quality electronics and software. This career is not exclusive from his roles in the percussion community, as his experience with electronics and software is becoming a growing need in the WGI community.

Before teaching, Daniel proudly marched with exclusively Innovative products at both the Glassmen Drum & Bugle Corps and Matrix Performing Arts. Daniel is excited to continue using
Innovative products in all his current and future teaching and design roles.

Daniel received his undergraduate degrees from Geneva College in 2016 in the fields of Computer Engineering, Computer Science, and Applied Mathematics. He hopes to continue using his professional knowledge in tandem with his percussion knowledge and experience to facilitate the growth of programs, students, and educators in the Pittsburgh and Northeast Ohio areas.
