Matthew Sides is a percussion educator in the St. Louis area.  He earned both his Bachelor of Arts in Music Performance degree and Master of Arts in Teaching degree from Lindenwood University.  While at Lindenwood, he studied with Shane Williams and Jeffrey Barudin.  He is currently the percussion instructor at St. Charles Community College and Timberland High School. His duties at St. Charles Community College include teaching music appreciation, percussion class, percussion ensemble and private percussion lessons.  At Timberland High School, he instructs the drum line and percussion ensembles.  Mr. Sides has performed with various ensembles around the St. Louis area.  He was a member of the St. Louis Brass Band and he is a current member of the St. Louis Civic Orchestra.
