Nicholas is currently the Percussion Adviser for Vermilion Local Schools in Vermilion, Ohio. He is also an educator who has been giving private and group lessons since 2012. His students have gone on to become successful percussionists in their respective ensembles.

Nicholas graduate in 2018 with is Bachelor of Arts in Music, and is currently pursuing his Master of Music Education.

Over the last decade, Mr. Prihoda has performed in over 15 states, from Illinois, to Alabama, to Kentucky, to Maryland. He has performed in several TN days of percussion, and even in Salzburg, Austria. Nicholas has performed with Andy Harnsberger, James Campbell, and Lalo Davila among others.

While working with Vermilion Local Schools, he has given private percussion instruction to beginning percussion students, guiding them to become the best they can be. While working with the marching band, they have gone to several contests and festivals each season. The band even performed at Disney May 2019.
