Ronnie Ivy was named Percussion Coordinator for Heritage High School in May 2009. His responsibilities at Heritage include directing the Heritage drumline/percussion ensemble and assisting in every other aspect of the band program. He also spends a majority of his time working with future Heritage band members at the middle school feeders.
                                                        

He holds a Bachelors Degree in Music Education from Northwestern State University where he studied percussion exclusively under Mr. Kenneth Green. Ronnie is an active clinician, adjudicator, arranger, and performer throughout the United States and holds professional memberships in the Texas Music Educators Association, Percussive Arts Society, and NAfME: National Association for Music Education.
