Adam Sanchez was born in Delano, California and raised in Bakersfield, California where he was submerged into music. Adam spent plenty of time at a young age being around family members and peers who showed him the joys of music. Adam began to study music in Bakersfield public school where he found his love for percussion instruments and was also able to pick up the saxophone along the way. Adam is now a Music Major currently perusing the route of jazz studies and drum set performance, and has earned his AA-T from Bakersfield College in General Music Studies. During Adam’s early college career, he was fortunate to further his percussion education in the marching arts in both the indoor drumline and drum and bugle corps realm. 

Adam began his marching career with the Bakersfield College Indoor drumline in 2014 and continued to march in the winters of 2016 and 2017. He also continued his local marching journey with Golden Empire Drum and Bugle Corps from 2014-2016 serving as the section leader of the drumline in 2015 and 2016. Adam was also able to finish his marching career in world class with notable ensembles such as the Boston Crusaders Drum and Bugle Corps in 2017 and Pulse Percussion in 2018. 

Adam has spent time teaching multiple high schools in the greater Bakersfield area and is currently the snare tech with the Bakersfield College Indoor drumline and Golden Empire Drum and Bugle Corps.
