Alex Entin received his degree in Music Education from the University of Northern Colorado under the instruction of Professor Gray Barrier.  His classical training on piano and percussion has taken him around the world touring and performing with prestigious ensembles. Alex has performed with the top Wind Ensembles, Orchestras and Percussion Ensembles during his studies at UNC.  He also received instruction from percussion teachers: Jim White, Jim Casella, Mike Nevin, Pat Amann, Ward Durrett, Brett Montgomery, Jim Ancona, Ray Ulibarri, and many more great teachers. 


Alex is also a drum corps veteran who participated as a marching member and a staff member at both the Blue Knights and The Cavaliers drum and bugle corps.  His extensive knowledge of the marching arts includes many years of experience on staff and as a member with multiple Colorado high school winter percussion ensembles including the Independent World Class Blue Knights Percussion Ensemble.  Alex has been with the Battalion Drum & Bugle Corps since its Inaugural Camp in November 2014.


Mr. Entin currently holds the position of Percussion Director at Lawrence Township North High School in Indianapolis, Indiana.  His wife Savannah is also an exceptional music teacher and together they raise their two children Mason (5) and Emily (1).
