Alex Shive is a percussion educator, clinician, and arranger in the North Georgia area. Alex holds a bachelors degree in Music Education from Auburn University and is currently the Director of Bands for Cartersville City Schools in Cartersville, Georgia. In addition, he also serves as a percussion instructor for the "Macy's Great American Marching Band" in New York City, and the Atlanta Quest organization "Q2" in Atlanta Georgia. Alex is a member of the Percussive Arts Society, the National Association for Music Education, and the Georgia Music Educators Association.
