Alex Siegelman has been involved with percussion since age 6 and the marching arts since 2005, playing bass drum for his middle/high school marching band.

After graduating high school, he continued to pursue his passion for music and has been an instructor since 2012 for schools in Broward County such as 2A state finalist and champion Somerset Academy Charter School, J.P. Taravella High School, and is the Director of Percussion at Cypress Bay High School.

His marching experience includes six collective seasons of both WGI and DCI in the following groups: STRYKE Percussion Ensemble (2012, 2014-2016), Legends Drum and Bugle Corps (2014), and The Cavaliers Drum and Bugle Corps (2015). Alex is thankful to have been under the instruction of such influential people, such as Cisco Hance, Rudy Flores, Landon Ewers, Russell Wharton, Joe Hobbs, and Mike McIntosh.

This past DCI season, Alex was on staff as a battery instructor for Heat Wave Drum & Bugle corps, under percussion caption head Mike Tabone.

Alex graduated from Florida International University in 2015 with a B.A. in Communication Arts, focusing on Organizational Communication, and is a member of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia Fraternity of America Inc. Currently, he has returned to school at Nova Southeastern University to pursue a second B.A., this time in music.
