Alyssa Newbill is an educator and performer currently residing with her husband, Will, in Fort Wayne, IN. She received her BS in Music Education from Ball State University, studying under Dr. Erwin C. Mueller. During her time at Ball State, she performed with all of the major instrumental ensembles, as well as with the top BSU Marimba Ensemble. She received her Master of Music Education from Northern State University.

Alyssa is currently the Assistant Band Director for Norwell High School and Norwell Middle School, and also serves as their Percussion Director. Since 2017, she has been a performer with the Mad Ant Drummers, a drumline for the Fort Wayne Mad Ants NBA G League team, and currently serves as their Assistant Director. She previously served as the Percussion Director and Assistant Band Director at Trine University.
