Angelo Outlaw, Jr. is a native of Philadelphia, PA. He
started playing in drum corps front ensembles in 2004 with DCA's the
Bushwackers Senior Drum and Bugle Corps. Angelo started marching DCI with
Kiwanis Kavaliers in 2005, then with the Crossmen Drum and Bugle Corps in 2006
and 2007, and lastly, with the Bluecoats Drum and Bugle Corps in 2008 and 2009.
Angelo began marching in Music City Mystique’s Front
Ensemble in 2008. He played vibraphone for the 2008 and 2009 seasons and then
went on to play marimba in 2010, 2011, and 2012. In 2011, Angelo had the
privilege to become the section leader of the front ensemble. He continued
leading the group for his age out in 2012
In 2013, Angelo began teaching Music City Mystique, and will
be continuing his journey with them for the 2015 season. He also worked with
the Blue Knights Drum and Bugle Corps during the 2013 and 2014 seasons. Angelo
will continue working with the Blue Knights for the 2015 season.
Currently residing in Nashville, TN, Angelo works for Apple
Inc. He also teaches and writes for numerous high schools in the Nashville
area.
