Ashley Collins (AJ) is currently working as a music therapist (MT-BC) at Tristar Skyline Madison Campus in Madison, TN. Her responsibilities include facilitating group music therapy sessions for all inpatient units as well as two outpatient programs.
In addition to working as a music therapist, AJ is a percussion educator at Clarksville High School and McGavock High School. During the fall she works with both marching bands. During the winter she is the front ensemble coordinator for the McGavock High School indoor percussion ensemble and provides lessons for students at Clarksville High School. Additionally, she is actively involved in the WGI arena as the front ensemble coordinator for Audio Theater. During the summer AJ spends her time working as the front ensemble coordinator for the Colt Cadets.
AJ grew up in the Chicago suburbs. She earned her Bachelor's degree in music therapy from the University of Iowa. During her time there, she toured and recorded with the PanAmerican Steel Band. Ashley is proud to be an Innovative Percussion artist. She is also proud to be an alumnus of both the Colt Cadets and Colts Drum & Bugle Corps.
