Bryan Zannotti is a percussionist based in Austin,
Texas. He grew up playing in rock bands
and playing along with his favorite drummers like Neil Peart and Roger
Taylor. He attended the University of
Wisconsin La Crosse Where he attained a Bachelor of Science degree in
Percussion Performance. There he was
exposed to new kinds of music. He
studied classical percussion and is an accomplished musician on drum set,
timpani, snare, and marimba. He also
studied jazz extensively, playing in both the big band and combos. Then he found himself playing along with
drummers like Tony Williams, Roy Haynes, and Philly Joe Jones. His deep musical knowledge allows him to make
tasteful contributions to the music that he makes with others. Bryan’s studies have allowed him to play
different styles such as Rock, Country, Jazz, Blues, Funk and more.
Since Bryan Moved to Austin, Texas in 2013, he has played
with an extensive list of bands such as Lee Ann Womack, Kip Moore, Jack Ingram,
Kevin Fowler, Bart Crow, Curtis Grimes, Bri Bagwell, Breelan Angel, Aaron
Einhouse, The Rankin Twins, Carter Beckworth, Vitera, Jenna McDaniel, Lauren
Diamond and has toured around the nation.
Bryan’s Approach to the drum set gives him the ability to play with
diverse groups of musicians. Currently,
Bryan is touring with Wade Bowen.
Bryan is a music educator.
He teaches private percussion lesson to students of all ages as well as
drum lines. Bryan is a lifelong student
and continues to study and grow as a musician.
