Casey O’Neal is currently the Head Percussion Director and Battery Arranger for Haltom High School in the Birdville Independent School District in Haltom City, Texas. Before coming to Haltom, Casey taught band and the Drumline in the Duncanville Independent School District in Duncanville, Texas. Casey received his undergraduate degree from Morehead State University where he gained a Bachelor Degree in Music Education. While at Morehead State, Casey performed with the Symphony Band, Percussion Ensemble, Steel Band, Jazz Band and Marching Band.

Casey spent one year on the snare-line with the Magic Drum and Bugle Corps in 2006 and two years on the snare-line with the Glassmen Drum and Bugle Corps in 2007 and 2008. He spent the next four summers teaching the snare-line and battery at the Glassmen Drum and Bugle Corps from 2009 - 2012.

Some of Casey’s teachers have included Rob Ferguson, Frank Oddis, Brian Mason, Patrick O’Donnell, Walt Riesenberg, Eric Ward, James Kirby, Jon Merritt, Dave Clark and Chris Hestin.
