After graduating high school in the Bay Area, Connie Truong moved to Southern California to pursue her music performance degree at Cal State Long Beach. She was very active in the indoor activity during high school and continued her career to become a member of Pulse Percussion (2015-2017). She also toured with Blue Devils B corps (2012) and the Santa Clara Vanguard (2016).  

Upon aging out of both WGI and DCI, Connie returned to Cal State Long Beach to finish her degree in Percussion Performance. Mixing her experience from her marching background with her music trainings, Connie is a music educator for high schools in Southern California.

Connie is currently a front ensemble instructor at Rosemead HS, Pacifica HS and Etiwanda HS. She is also an instructor at the Vanguard Cadets Drum and Bugle Corps.
