Cristian
Good is an in-demand educator, consultant, and percussionist from northern
Indiana.
Cristian
has a B.A. in music from Goshen College. Throughout his time at Goshen College
he was active in Symphonic Orchestra, Concert Band, Lavender Jazz, and
Percussion Ensemble with additional appearances with the Maple City Chamber
Orchestra. He has also assisted in several Brazilian drumming clinics alongside
Dr. Christopher Fashun, Asst. Professor of Music at Hope College.
As
a music educator, Cristian has worked with a variety of high school programs
throughout northern Indiana. While at Goshen College he taught alongside
Derrick Shannon, helping to build the Goshen High School percussion
program. During this time the program
grew from class A finals, to winning concert open class, and performing in
world class finals, all in a total of 3 years. Recently Cristian has taught
percussion and been the head of electronic design at Homestead High School in
Ft . Wayne. He has also taught percussion at many other schools around the
Elkhart area throughout the years of 2011-2017.
Cristian
is a well known audio engineer and consultant in the marching arts community
both in the midwest and around the United States. He has extensive knowledge of
the concepts and techniques used in the marching arts activity including system
design, setup, wireless coordination, synth programming, and audio sample
creation. Cristian was the Cavalier's audio engineer during the 2014, 2015, and
2016 seasons and has worked closely alongside Michael McIntosh and Tom
McGillen. In 2015 he worked with Gateway Indoor, and in 2016 he worked with
Legacy Indoor Percussion.
Cristian
currently resides in Ft. Wayne, Indiana and works as a sales engineer at
Sweetwater Sound while continuing to teach and consult in his spare time.
