Daniel Asgari currently serves as the Assistant Director of Bands and Percussion Director at Earl Warren High School in San Antonio, TX. Daniel graduated Cum Laude and attained his Bachelor of Music Degree from the University of Texas at San Antonio, with a concentration in Music Studies. During his time at UTSA, Daniel studied under Dr. Si Millican.
Daniel also serves as adjunct faculty with the University of Texas at San Antonio School of Music. With the unveristy, Daniel serves on the music staff for their official indoor percussion ensemble, the Rhythm of San Antonio, and the marching band, the Spirit of San Antonio. Each ensemble just completed their inaugural seasons in the 2011-2012 academic year.
Prior to completing his degree, Daniel served on staff at Louis D. Brandeis and Sandra Day O'Connor High Schools. During this time each school earned outstanding percussion awards at various contests, including the PAS High School Marching Festival Champions in 2005.
Furthermore, since the 2009 season, Daniel has served as an Assistant Music Director for the San Antonio Rim Shots, the percussion team for the four-time World Champion San Antonio Spurs NBA franchise.
