Dwight Fontenot earned his Bachelor of Music degree from the University of North Texas where he marched snare with the University of North Texas championship drum line for three years.  Prior to this he marched with the Sky Ryders Drum & Bugle Corps for two years serving as section leader in his final year.  He earned his Master of Music degree from the University of South Florida and has taught secondary band programs throughout the United States, Japan, and Indonesia and has consistently received superior ratings in marching, concert, and jazz competitions. Dwight has served as a clinician and judge and has performed with various programs throughout the U.S. and Japan.  He has published a rehearsal method book and is currently teaching at the University of Great Falls and Great Falls High School and performing with the New Harold Nichols Big Band, Great Falls Jazz Band, and the Great Falls Symphony.
