From the time Ed Eblen started playing drums with twigs and buckets over two tree stumps at 8-years-old in Rhode Island, music was his passion.  Through the years the fire grew to embrace all the genres he would ulitmately play professionally.

By the mid '80s, Eblen lived in Nashville for a few years where he worked with label artists Shelly West and Robin Lee.

Toward the end of the decade, he moved to Los Angeles where Eblen enjoyed touring with such artists as Jim Messina and Johnny Lee and the the band The Doo Wah Riders.  he has had the pleasure of playing with such artists as Martina McBride, Toby Keith, Carlene Carter, Freddie Fender, Carmen Grillo, and Bill Champlin.

Currently, he splits time playing with Kenny Cetera's Chicago Experience, Justin Honsinger and Big Coyote, in addition to recording with various artists.  Eblen also manages his own business, E-Pad! Practice Pads, produces the drum video show Robyn Flans Drummer Interviews and finds time to boast about his twins, Jamie, a successful new York drummer and Taylor, soon to be a music educator.
