Born in Italy, after attending the trumpet course at the Giuseppe Verdi Conservatory of Turin, because of his passion for drums he started studying privately and after a few years he got to know more about it by going to the USA.
In 1985 he joined the Orchestra Sinfonica of the Teatro Regio in Turin, for a period as percussionist. To date he has participated in many albums and tours with great artists of Italian music, to name a few: Eros Ramazzotti, Mia Martini, Loredana Bertè, Ivano Fossati, Claudio Baglioni, Elisa, Fabrizio De Andrè, Miyazawa Kazufumi, Justin Haward (Moody Blues), Jesus Vasquez, Alejandro Sanz, Graham Gouldman.
Since 2013 he has been part of the Malta Philharmonic Orchestra for concerts organized by the tenor Joseph Calleja, accompanying internationally renowned artists such as: Leona Lewis, Rebecca Ferguson, Sugar, Anastacia, Claudio Baglioni, Susan Vega, Andrea Bocelli.
He has participated in the production of soundtracks for Mauro Pagani- Gabriele Salvatores (Siberiana Education) and last with Ennio Morricone for the film "The Hateful Eight" by Quentin Tarantino.
