Eric Proctor is a Philadelphia based drummer and educator. As an educator, Eric is the Music Director at Saints John Neumann and Maria Goretti High School, a clinician with Mad Beatz Philly, teaches percussion and guitar at Mister John’s Music, and maintains an active private studio. As a performer, Eric is the drummer for Bazmati Vice, Angelo Outlaw, Mister John’s Music, and can be heard on Stereo Joule’s self titled album.

Before moving to Philadelphia, Eric was the Associate Director of Bands and Percussion Director at JP Taravella High School in Coral Springs, FL where he conducted the chamber percussion ensemble to multiple Superior with Distinction ratings at State Solo and Ensemble. Eric has worked with many marching bands and indoor percussion ensembles such as Cypress Bay PSO, Fletcher High School, West Broward High School, and Ancient City Ensemble PIA. In South Florida, Eric worked as the percussion clinician for Ramblewood Middle School and Coral Springs Middle School.

He has an active following on YouTube where you can find short drum lessons and music recordings.

Eric was a member of the 2009 and 2011 Cavaliers Drum and Bugle Corps Front Ensemble and holds a BM from the University of North Florida in Music Performance under the direction of Charlotte Mabrey and Kevin Garry. He is actively seeking a Masters of Education at Eastern University.
