Logan Scarbrough, a native of Memphis, Tennessee, has carved out a dynamic career as a drummer, educator, and influential figure within the Greater Nashville Area’s vibrant music scene. His journey began with a profound passion for percussion deeply rooted in his hometown's rich musical heritage, a passion that remains the driving force behind his professional pursuits.

Currently, Logan serves as the Percussion Instructor at the Murfreesboro Academy of Music, where he passionately mentors students, nurturing their musical talents and cultivating a deep appreciation for music. His expertise spans a wide array of percussion styles including Drum-set, Marching, Latin, Concert, and World Percussion, creating an engaging and enriching learning environment with his top-tier instruction.

Logan earned his Music Degree from Middle Tennessee State University, refining his skills under the guidance of esteemed educators such as Lalo Davila, Brian Mueller, Julie Davila, Matt Jordan, and Derrick Phillips. These mentors not only shaped his musical prowess but also instilled in him a profound commitment to passing on his knowledge to future generations of musicians.

In Nashville's diverse music landscape, Logan is a recognized presence, actively performing and recording across various genres. His collaborations exemplify his versatility, seamlessly blending the soulful rhythms of Memphis with contemporary musical styles. Particularly noteworthy is Logan's collaboration with acclaimed artist Natalie Madigan, where his ability to infuse compositions with a distinctive flair enhances each performance's artistic narrative. Additionally, Logan has contributed his talents to esteemed concert ensembles including The Caixa Trio, The Eroica Ensemble, and The Parthenon Chamber Orchestra.

Logan credits his formative years at the Academy of Percussive Arts in Bartlett, Tennessee and the mentorship of teachers Robert Kessling, Brandon Smith, and Stan Head for much of his success. Today, through his music, Logan continues to honor his roots while enriching Nashville's cultural tapestry and extending his influence beyond. His unwavering dedication to excellence in both education and performance underscores his commitment to preserving and evolving the legacy of percussion, ensuring its enduring impact in the world of music.
