Jeremiah Bivins
Troy Olson, and Independent Nashville Session Player
Jeremiah Bivins, who was born in Santa Maria, California in 1978, is a country drummer. As a drummer, he has proven himself to be an asset behind any artist. He has worked with such country superstars as Johnny Cash and John Conlee though his work spans many other artist as well.
Bivins began drumming professionally at the age of seventeen. He was the staff drummer for Nashville Cowboy Church for five years. At age nineteen, he tested the touring waters and began traveling with a country group. This was the school of hard knocks for Bivins, he was determined to stay in Nashville, play shows on 'Lower' Broadway and wait for the call. After his experience as a staff and touring drummer for three years, the call to play for John Conlee came in. Bivins worked with Conlee on several Grand Ole Opry and touring dates over the course of the next year as a sub drummer. During this time several more calls would come in to play and record with many other country artists; Trent Tomlinson, Bobby Pinson, Jeff Bates, Anthony Smith, Ricky Skaggs, sub on the local FOX morning show for the legendary drummer Milton Sledge, and Troy Olsen.
In addition to his many drumming appearances and recording sessions, Bivins co produced and has been band leader for many up and coming artists and successful songwriters.
Jeremiah is determined to be one of Nashville's busiest drummers and is looking forward to the future and evolution of the Country Music Business. Things are just beginning!
