Juan Carlos Cuazitl Paleta was born in Puebla Mexico where he studied and received a Music Degree as a Percussionist.  During this time, he was in charge of the percussion section of Aguiluchos Marching Band as percussion instructor. Aguiluchos Marching Band is the first marching band in Mexico to attend various events in Mexico and other countries. Juan Carlos is currently the Director for Aguiluchos Marching Band and is Timpanist in the Symphony Orchestra of the Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla.

Juan Carlos has traveled to various countries with Aguiluchos Marching Band sharing Marching Percussion music with Latin style and Mexican music, having attended events such as Rose Parade 2004, Midosuji Parade in Osaka Japan in 2006, MusikParade in Germany 2008, Orlando Citrus Parade USA in 2009, Rose Parade 2013, International Bande Musicalli- Giulianova Italy Festival in 2017, China International Wind Music Festival in Dalian China and the Great Wall in Mutianyu, and for the third time attending the Rose Parade in Pasadena, California 2020.   

In recent years,  he has had a musical exchange with Dr Brad McDavid Director of Husky Marching Band of Washington University. Since 2009, Juan Carlos has been part of the Symphony Orchestra of the Benemérita Universidad Autonoma de Puebla, having various participations with local, national, and international artists.
