Justin Johnson is from Pensacola, Florida and currently lives in Nashville TN. He has been playing drums since he was 8 years old. He started by watching his brother play in  their dad's church and became interested, he picked up the sticks and started playing. It came naturally to him and he knew that drumming was his calling. He has never had a lesson, he say's that God blessed him with the talent to play and all the credit belongs to him. He played at the church for a few years before going on the road full time with his family traveling across the country playing concerts and doing revivals. He did that for 9 yrs and then he felt like it was time to move to Nashville. Right away he began traveling full time with grammy nominated, daywind recording artists Austins Bridge. That was such a great experience for him as a young drummer.  After that he was grammy award winner Jason Crabb and from there now with the grammy nominated, dove award wining group The Isaacs. He has had so many incredible opportunities over the past few years since moving to town and has been on some of the biggest stages such as, The Grand Ole Opry, The Ryman Auditorium, Brooklyn Tabernacle, and also performed live on many Television Networks. 

His stick choice is the Legacy 5a and the Br-3 Nylon Brushes.
