Justin Lee, a resident of La Vergne, Tennessee, currently serves as an active percussionist, music educator, and composer in the greater Middle Tennessee area and beyond.
Having earned his undergraduate degree in Music Education from the University of Tennessee at Martin, Justin is very passionate about music and music education. He has taught private lessons, performed at Percussive Arts Society International Convention (as a soloist and in ensembles), composed and arranged numerous pieces for a variety of instruments, and worked in commissioning and premiering new works for percussion. Justin has performed as a soloist and as a member of the UT Martin Wind Ensemble, PASIC Showcase-Winning UTM Percussion Ensemble, Steel Band, Maravilla Duo, and other ensembles in numerous locations across the US and Brazil for concerts, clinics, weddings, dedications, competitions, and more. Justin is also an active member of the professional organizations PAS and NAfME. In 2015, he attended the highly successful NAfME Hill Day Summit as a collegiate representative of music education, discussing important issues facing music education with state representatives in Washington, D.C.
Justin is also earnestly involved in the marching activity, having performed with Spirit of Atlanta (2010) and Phantom Regiment (2011-2014). Justin also performed with 8-time WGI World Champions and PASIC clinicians Music City Mystique (2011-2016), acting as a section leader his last 4 years, and now serves as part of the front ensemble instructional staff with the ensemble. He has served in various instructional and design roles for indoor and outdoor percussion ensembles including University of Tennessee at Martin, Madison Scouts Drum and Bugle Corps, Station Camp High School, Union City High School, Clarksville Audio Theater, Goodpasture Christian School, Page High School, and Music City Drum Corps. He also has experience writing and arranging music for the lot performances of Music City Drum Corps, Phantom Regiment, and Music City Mystique.

Carlos Johnson, Meagan Nelson, Craig Loeffler, Bret Kuhn, Angelo Outlaw, Andrew Lynge, Dr. John Oelrich, Sean Womack, Dr. Daniel Heagney, Erik Johnson, Dr. Daniel Piccolo, and more. Justin plans to continually expand his horizons as a percussionist, composer, musician, and educator with each opportunity that presents itself.
