Kazuki Harada is a marching percussion artist, educator, and composer based in Japan. He began playing percussion in 2008 and later studied with Tadashi Ushiyama in high school. Harada continued his training at Tamagawa University, where he studied computer music and composition under Jonathan F. Lee, expanding his artistic and technical foundation.
In Japan, he performed with The Yokohama Scouts Drum & Bugle Corps, contributing to a DCJ championship and the corps’ first High Percussion award. His U.S. experience includes performing with the Blue Stars and the Bluecoats, appearing as a DCI World Class finalist and broadening his international perspective. Harada is a multiple DCJ I&E champion, twice setting record scores in Snare Solo and earning additional titles in Keyboard Ensemble. He is also a DCI I&E Bass Ensemble champion.
He is active throughout Japan as an educator, composer, and performer, with a focus on advancing the art of marching percussion.
