Manny Maldonado is highly sought after as a private lesson instructor and show designer, program coordinator, arranger, consultant, clinician, and adjudicator for marching band.

As a private lesson instructor, Manny’s students have won half (2 out of 4) of the qualifying chairs from the area that advance to the Texas Music Educator Association’s All-State Band, an honor bestowed upon 28 percussionists from the state every year. Manny’s students have won half of these chairs four of the past five years.

His students also sweep the T.M.E.A. region in chairs as well, having won the top seven chairs in 2013 and seven of the top eight in 2012.

Manny founded MJM Works, LLC, a marching band design company in 2008. Since then, he has worked with, arranged for, and adjudicated bands across the United States.
