Mark Teal is currently the Director of Percussion for the Duncanville Independent School District as well as Associate Director of Bands for Duncanville High School.

Mr. Teal received his undergraduate degree from the University of North Texas where he gained a Bachelor of Arts in Music Education. While at North Texas, Mr.Teal performed with the Wind Symphony, Classical Percussion Ensemble, Pop Ensemble, Steel Band, and the world-champion UNT Indoor Drumline.

Mr. Teal spent four years, 1996, 1998-2000 as a member of the front ensemble with Carolina Crown Drum and Bugle Corps. Mark has been a percussion staff member with Carolina Crown, Phantom Regiment, and currently the Santa Clara Vanguard. Mark Teal is an educational artist for Innovative Percussion and Dynasty Band Instruments.
