Matthew has a diverse background in the world of percussion, ranging from Jazz to Drum Corps to Avant Garde music to Popular music to Orchestral percussion, and more.  He has performed in Bands and Orchestras throughout the New England and Tennessee areas. He was part of the 2014 MTSU Chamber percussion group, which took 1st place at PASIC in Indianapolis. Matthew has also performed at Venues such as; The CT PAS chapter day, the NAfME CT Convention, The TN PAS chapter day, PASIC, and many more. 

He is currently finishing a Masters Degree in Percussion Performance at Middle Tennessee State University studying under Lalo Davila, Julie Davila and Derrek Phillips, amongst other well-known musicians and directors. Prior to studying at Middle Tennessee State University, Matthew received his Undergraduate Degree at Western Connecticut State University studying under David Smith and Patrick Smith.
