Mr. Landini is the assistant Band Director at Powhatan High School in Powhatan, Virginia. He has served in various capacities with the Powhatan Bands and Ensembles since 1997. The percussion program in Powhatan county covers the high school marching band percussion section, two indoor drumlines, five concert percussion classes covering grades 6-12 as well as solo performance development. Mr. Landini has a B.M. in Music Education from Virginia Commonwealth University and studied with Mr. T. Howard Curtis, Mr. Mike Boyd, the late Mr. Donald A. Bick, Mr. Jim Jacobson and Mr. Barry Dove among others. Mr. Landini marched for the 1995 and 1996 seasons with Carolina Crown in the front ensemble. He has served as a percussion instructor with the Virginia Helmsmen, Tarheel Sun, and various programs around the state of Virginia. Mr. Landini is an active member of PAS, MENC, VMEA and VBDOA, and endorses both Dynasty USA Marching Percussion and Innovative Percussion sticks and mallets. Mr. Landini is married to his wife Melissa. They have one son, Jake, one daughter, Brooke.
