Richard Williams has been a marching percussion instructor, arranger, clinician, and adjudicator for over 34 years. He began as a performer in the Jefferson City (MO) public schools in 1977, eventually graduating from Jefferson City High School in 1983, wherein the band received many prestigious awards throughout the state, Midwest, and on the national stage. Additionally, the drumline achieved numerous caption awards.

Continuing forward, Mr. Williams has compiled a successful career in teaching a variety of organizations, including public schools, colleges/universities, and drum and bugle corps. The extent of his services span the states of MO, TX, NM, AZ, CO, WY, and KS, including the following recognized organizations:

Richard is currently a percussion consultant for the Jefferson City School District and is the Percussion Coordinator for Capital City High School.
