Rick Wilkerson's experience and energy on stage, precision in the studio, and rudimental expertise make him a unique asset in the professional music community. Born in Hattiesburg, Mississippi and raised in Nashville, Tennessee since 1994 he is no stranger to great music and musicians. Rick grew up listening to every genre from gospel to rock.

Before his professional career began he studied under classical, rudimental and drumset professors and musicians like Chester Thompson, Kathe Vance, Lalo Davila, Tom Giampetro, and Andy Smith. Since then Rick has had a unique and vast drumset career performing in and around Nashville area with musicians and ensembles such as The legendary Reggie Wooten & Friends, The Tyrone Smith Revue, The Great Barrier Reefs & Tony, and many others. He has been studio musician since his freshman year at Middle Tennessee State University and continues to record today with Leon Timbo, Mike Anderson, The Great barrier Reefs &Tony, and other independent projects.

In addition to drumset he is well versed in the world of rudimental percussion and has had the opportunity to travel in and out of the country with many marching ensembles. His marching credits include, Music City Mystique in 2006, who have been a 6 time Independent World Class Champions, The Glassmen Drum & Bugle Corps in 2005, and the Bluecoats Drum & Bugle Corps in 2007-2008.
