Ruffato Roberto starts very early to play and to attend the musical environment, following the advice of the brothers already in the professional environment and with whom he climbs for the first time on stage at the age of 3 years.
He attended the Conservatory of Castelfranco Veneto as an oboist and in parallel to the classic studio embraces his true passion: the drums.
At only 15 years old, he met jazz thanks to some well-known names in the Padovano circuit and started playing in the venues and squares of the Veneto region in various jazz and Italian bands and popular music.
The greatest musical influences are the rock of the '70s /' 80s, funk and the great masters of world jazz. For 27 years he worked as a professional drummer and teacher, playing with many well-known musicians on the national and international scene. He had as teacher the great Lele Melotti and Franco Rossi with whom he graduated from the A.M.M.of Milan and then deepened his technical knowledge thanks to international masters with whom he also had the pleasure, later to collaborate. He has experimented and played many musical genres in Brazilian musical formations, rock, jazz, pop-Italian, fusion, funky and Latin American. From 1999 to 2008 he played with the best orchestras and bands of the Veneto and followed with tribute Band in over 1400 live dates, in parallel with his activity as Drum Educator, active for about 20 years. He participates in several record productions such as Turnista and Session Man

In addition to teaching in fixed positions for several years, he participates as a guest in various Italian schools for in-depth studies and Master Classes. He is also a promoter and organizer of Masters and Clinics in synergy, with schools and associations in collaboration with some Italian teachers and beyond.
