Ron is a graduate of the University of Illinois and former marching member of The Cavaliers Drum and Bugle Corps. He currently serves as Band Director, Composer and Arranger for the Lakewood Ranch High School band program in Bradenton, Florida. He conducts the Wind Ensemble, Jazz 1, guitar studies program and the award winning LRHS Percussion Studio. Previous to his tenure in Florida public schools, he was Director of the H.O.T. Show Band and Athletic Bands Percussion at the University of South Florida. He has been Caption Head and arranger for several drum and bugle corps and written for nationally recognized marching band programs in Florida, Texas and California. Ron is also a professional drummer who has many recording and touring credits and has worked on jingles for national ad campaigns.
