When listening for creativity and looking for entertainment, Ron Lavella offers the perfect touch. Ron became passionate about drumming at a very young age. After recording and touring with an assortment of bands in his native town, Pittsburgh, Ron decided to expand his opportunities and move to Nashville. Since Ron has moved to Nashville, he has extended his talent to studio recordings with diverse singers and songwriters. Ron epitomizes musical versatility that compliments a variety of genres.

Ron has been a touring member of Vertical Horizon since the Fall of 2008. Vertical Horizon have had such hits as, “Everything You Want” and “You’re a God”. Ron has played with Vertical Horizon at numerous venues around the world.

Ron is also an integral member of the Shawn and Hobby Band. The band has experienced a warm welcome by the Nashville music scene, while also enjoying success on the road. Ron has developed the respect and esteem from his colleagues through an innovative and solid sound. His impeccable timing and stellar technique have assisted Ron in becoming a beloved artist.
