Tanner Trigg holds his B.M. in Music Education form Texas
Christian University and is currently the Director of Percussion at Aledo High
School in Aledo, Texas. While at Aledo
High School his groups have performed at the State Marching Contest and State
Honor Band contest. Aledo Middle School was also invited to play at the 2013
Midwest Clinic in Chicago. Prior to his experience with Aledo High School, he
has assisted with the renowned percussion programs of Duncanville High School
and Marcus High School. In addition, He has also been an instructor for the
Troopers Drum and Bugle Corp from 2013 - Present.
Tanner has studied with percussionists Paul Rennick,
Sandi Rennick, Richard Gipson, Brian West, Joey Carter, and Alan Joanis and has
performed with artists Mark Ford, Bob Becker, Brian Zator, and Darren Dyke.
Tanner has had the opportunity to perform as a clinician
and a showcase artist for the Percussive Arts Society International Convention
with the Phantom Regiment Percussion Ensemble, Birdville High School, and Texas
Christian University.
He was a member of the Phantom Regiment Drum and Bugle
Corp from 2008 – 2010. With Phantom Regiment he received two Fred Sanford High
Percussion Awards and placed first in Drum Corps International World
Championships. Other performing groups consist of Winter Guard Internationals
Surround Sound Percussion Ensemble years 2006 and 2007, as well as the Texas
Christian University Percussion Ensemble and Indoor Drumline from 2007-2011.
