Trice Mayhall is currently Assistant Band Director and Percussion Director at McNairy Central High School in Selmer, TN. His duties include and assisting with the McNairy Central High School concert and marching programs, McNairy County Middle School band programs, and teaching percussion students grades 6-12.

Mr. Mayhall’s marching experience includes Music City Drum and Bugle Corps in 2011 and Gateway Indoor in 2014. Mr. Mayhall was a Front Ensemble Instructor for Sun City Indoor during the 2019 WGI season.

Mr. Mayhall received his Bachelor of Music Education Degree from the University of Tennessee at Martin in 2017 and completed his Master of Music Performance Degree at the University of Texas at El Paso in 2019. During his university studies, Mr. Mayhall has performed with wind symphonies, a symphony orchestra, percussion ensembles, steel bands, and world music ensembles.

Some notable performances include: the UT Martin Percussion Studio’s 2016 PASIC World Music Ensemble Concert, the UT El Paso Percussion Studio’s 2019 collaborative concert with the acclaimed Caixa Trio, and the UT El Paso Wind Symphony’s 2019 concert at the American Bandmasters Association.

Mr. Mayhall has also been on two international travel studies including Recife, Brazil and Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago.
